It's a top all round pub in an interesting position, but not as interesting as it used to be. PubSpy discovered in the old days before the river flow was controlled, you often had to take off your shoes and socks and roll up your pants to get a beer because the pub was flooded. Today, it serves the best cold drinks and at very reasonable prices.
