Curiousty Corner
The Victoria Tavern was originally licensed 8th October 1839, and is one of the handful of premises in Hobart that have continuously been licensed under their original licensed name. In it's day, it was one of the only taverns of that era to be given a license that did not have accommodation. The reason that the Tavern was licensed without accommodation was because one of the underground tunnels leads from the Tavern cellar to Hadley's hotel
