Bamaga Tavern

The Bamaga Tavern is the most Northerly mainland pub in Australia. This venue has a front public bar with pool tables and regularly pool and darts competitions are held. The Bistro provide a more family orientated environment and good quality and reasonably priced meals and takeaway including pizzas. There is a pleasant beer garden with gazebos. Functions can be catered. PubSpy also discovered there are carriage limits on the amount of alcohol that can be carried in a vehicle. These limits are one carton of alcohol and 2 litres of wine. There are severe penalties for being in contravention of these limits.Tourist operators can apply to Liquor Licensing for a permit to allow their vehicles to exceed these carriage limits.
